Dr Shah is a highly professional Consultant Adult Psychiatrist currently working for the Bedford Community Mental Health Services, providing clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and also practicing privately at Harley Street Consulting Clinics in Great Denham.

He has a Medical Degree, Diploma in Psychological Medicine, Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry, and Diploma in Hospital Management. Dr Shah is also a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is Section 12(2) Approved.

Dr Shah did his postgraduate training in Psychiatry in Dublin, Ireland followed by Specialist Psychiatric training in England and has over 20 years’ experience as a Psychiatrist, working across the NHS Mental Health Services in General Adult Psychiatry.

Dr Shah is a senior consultant psychiatrist with extensive experience in assessing and treating the particular needs of both male and female clients with a wide variety of psychological and mental health issues. He specialises in anxiety disorder, depression and treatment resistant depression, psychotherapy, bipolar spectrum disorders, adult ADHD, addictions, and eating disorders in both male and female clients.” Dr Shah believes in joint working with patients and their families, and consistent monitoring of progress.
